Røldal Bygdemuseum / Røldal Village Museum
Røldal Village Museum is located at Ytre Hauge Farm, called "Eldhushaugen". The museum area has originally 3 buildings, farmhouse, barn and smokehouse. They were donated as museum in 1984, by Tore N. Hauge. The houses and all their contents can be seen today as they were when Tore lived here.

Hardangervidda
In 1981 a big area of this mountain plateau became protected as National Park. The landscape is very varied. In the central and eastern parts there are open, almost flat plateaus, while in the south and west the area is broken up by high mountain ridges, reaching some 1700 metres in height. In Hardangervidda contains the largest herds of wild reindeer in Europe and also other animals can be seen here, for example rare arctic fox. Area houses a glacier, Hardangerjøkulen, the sixth largest ice-cap in continental Norway. Hardangervidda offers many activity possibilities, like hiking, biking, hunting or skiing.
Dyrskar
The highest point on the road between Eastern and Western Norway - Haukelifjell near Røldal. The present road follows mainly the old route. Restored workmen's hut. The old road is open during summer for small cars. It is ideal for biking.

Røldal Ski Centre has open during the whole winter and offers quality and variation:

Graves and iron age exhibition
At Seim, one of the oldest farms in Røldal, you will find a grave field from the iron age. In the old barn it is an exhibition with a photomontage and models of the grave findings. Open daily during summer, free entrance.
Røldal Geitostysteri / Goat Cheese Dairy
Production and sale of goat cheese. Cafeteria. From July during the summer open daily from 11:00 to 19:00, in September open daily from 11:00 to 15:00.
